Auckland skyline, from Devonport! 23May06

Baylys beach!

Cape Reinga, the very top of NZ, where the Tasman sea (left), meets the Pacific ocean (right).

Then at the end of 90mile beach, you have to drive 3km up quicksand creek, to get back to the main road, which is a rough dirt track, aka, state highway 1.

Here's one that didn't make it all the way up 90 mile beach before the tide came in!

Driving up 90mile beach (only about 40miles), at about 140kph, north to Cape Reinga!

The best Fish & Chip shop in the world!

Taking the Tardis on the ferry from Russell, to the mainland!

Sue & Russell! Bay of Islands, May!

Same shirt, different day, same hunk!

Different beach, different day, same gorgeous chick!

Matapouri, up't North, believe it or not, it's now winter here!!!

Crocodile Dundee at the waterfall, at Whangarai!

Just to show, there is a light at the end of the tunnel! We walked through the 1.2km tunnel at Karanghake gorge!

Bry & Sue (fatter & happier!) at Anzac Bay, Sandspit, NI.

Us at Cathedral Cove! Early May!

Sue meets Noreen at Cathedral Cove. Having a cold (contraceptive) shower under a waterfall, after a swim in the Pacific!

These are the happy "Gippo's", at Thames, in the Coromandel!

This is how near we were to the beach, when we were evacuated at 5.30 in the morning, by a Tsunami warning! Luckily it was a false alarm!

Wally & Gromtt! Believe it or not, "Sprocket" didn't bite her! Note the matching "shaggy dog" hairstyles!

Sue doing a little "light house" work! After climbing up 750 steps! Eastcape, she could hardly walk for days afterwards!

Bryan & Tardis on top of sandune!

Golden sands, crystal clear water, and bush fringed deserted beaches at the Abel Tasmin.

Bryan and a Hukka! (Falls, that is!)

Bryan p.p.p.p.picks up a Penguin!

One of our favourite places, Castlepoint.
